I know this because I usually have to look around to play games with my buddies/brother. And there's always matches kicking even these days. I can't help but feel like you've never actually played it though, given that there is no "ranked vs custom" matches on it, there's only skirmish. If we're talking about multiplayer life support, DoW3 - which launched without mod support - also died very soon after release, as did the game we're discussing. The only success story for mods that i have ever heard of is with SC 2 arcade mode which arent really mods to begin with because it doesnt change the version of the game. Cant find ranked games and it takes quite a while to find costum matches. Yes people still play it (mainly playing coop compstomp with their bros) but it might as well be on life support.

Then, because we wanted it to be equipped with missiles as it was in the lore books, we overlayed the projectile from the chaos missile launchers over the macro cannons and changed the colour of the effect to yellow to look more imperial.īut it very hard to do even that given the nature of the way it is coded into the game. The Vanquisher battleship, for example, is just a battleship-type chassis that we gave lances and macro cannons. all we can do is adjust numbers, effects and existing assets. I work on balancing for the mod, and I can confirm that its impossible to make or add new things into this game.
I'm surprised anyone still uses this mod.
